Women’s Self-Defense Workout Classes!

6 weeks, Mondays starting October 8th
12:00 – 1:00 pm
Fee - $120

Come join Master Laurie DeUmberto for her self-defense workout class designed especially for women.
You will be taught the basics of how to defend yourself.
You will also be challenged physically with push-ups, sit-ups, calisthenics, etc….

Uniforms are not required.

Saturday, April 14th - Fundraiser For The American Cancer Society

Saturday April 14 all Karate classes are cancelled from 8:30 to 11:15.
Mercer Academy will be hosting a fundraiser for the American Cancer
Society.
8:30 to 9:00 will be a free karate class to members and non-members.
9:10 to 9:30 students will put on a demonstration.
9:40 to 11:00 will be boardbreaking. The school will purchase boards. In
order to participate in boardbreaking, boards must be purchased from school.
All money collected will be donated.
There will be a bake sale in the lobby during all events.
Come out and have fun and support a good cause. More information will be
posted at the school.

Master Layne Promoted!

Congratulations to Master Layne who, awarded a purple belt in jiu jitsu three years ago, was promoted to advanced purple belt level (2 Stripes). She was belt ranked by Phil Migliarese on November 5, 2005 at Balance Studios in Philadelphia.
